This would be the first review to use the new Manic Expression outro for 2022 – though slightly edited from the original to better match the 5 second timeframe in my videos.
Interestingly enough, this one being a mockbuster of Godzilla: King of the Monsters means it came out well before the Asylum mockbuster of Godzilla vs Kong, “Ape vs Monster.” Despite that, this one comes off considerably better put together with more impressive effects, better use of sets and a much better plot.
Eric Roberts also plays in both movies, both times being a “military dude” but strangely enough, completely different characters. He was Ethan Marcos in AVM, while he plays General Horne in Monster Island.
