To answer the question, no, I haven’t heard of this movie.

Seems like, for a low-budget movie about a combat tournament, more could have been done with some of the ideas. And yes, from that brief clip, I see what you mean about the purple lighting. Even movies with better budgets than this one sometimes make horrible lighting choices the makers probably think make the scene look ‘cool’ but instead just make it confusing and hard to follow.

All in all, it’s good to see some more obscure movies reviewed every now and then.
