This isn’t really significant news. I just can’t help but reiterate it. As we all know, Nickelodeon handled Legend of Korra, its most acclaimed show, by pulling it off the air and cutting the budget. But now it seems the network has figured out what’s what, pulling another chapter of the Avatar franchise back from the doldrums and making a huge event out of airing it (if I heard right) this Saturday, as though we’re about to see a whole new round of Avatar fever: M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender movie.
