Greetings, Manic Fans. Les here to talk about another Manic meeting. Those of you who’ve followed my blogs from the previous site platform know that I had the privilege of the site’s first international meeting when I met
Adriano Bordoni-AKA Madhog thy Master
in Rome, Italy 2 winters ago.  Zany hijinks ensued and we got 4 wacky videos out of them ranging in topics discussed from “Pacific Rim,†“My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic,†“Smurfs,†to many wonderful, but little known outside of Italy, Italian cartoons. We joked, we sang and danced and we had a lot of spontaneous ad-libbing fun. My hat switched heads a few times, and we invented a new internet meme-“Random Cerberus Attack Moment!!!!!â€-Too bad it didn’t catch on…that was pretty good IMHO.
You might also remember when I moved from Las Vegas, Nevada to Asheville, North Carolina. I did a cross country road trip and, on the way, met my oldest internet friend and website owner
James “Stop the Hate†Daniel Walsh
(lost the selfie shot in the computer crash and site move to the new platform)
in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Geek conversation of the highest order ensued between 2 great friends who felt like they’d known each other their whole lives. I also marveled at the great mecca of geek merchandise room where James keeps all the really cool stuff.
Well, it happened again, my friends. Another road trip(this time from Asheville, North Carolina where I now live, to New Orleans, Louisiana(where all the really good musician work is). On the way home, I made a slight detour through Mississippi, where I met another one of my long-time internet friends
That Long-Haired Creepy Guy
As with James and Madhog, this felt like 2 friends getting together who already knew each other well and just wanted to hang out like they’d always done. I gotta say, Creepy is just as cool, interesting and engaging in real life as he is in any video you’ve seen of him. With a lot to say without ever becoming overbearing or monotonous, Creepy is a lot of fun to hang out with. We opted for a steakhouse lunch that conversation stretched to 2 hours.  We got into all the important topics like Doctor Who, Once Upon a Time, Cartoons from the ’70s and ’80s, dealing with real life and real families and living in the South.  I wish I’d made more time for the get-together.  I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again the next time I find myself in Mississippi. And so, to Creepy, thanks for wonderful visit and I look forward to meeting you again in the future, my friend. Peace.
And to all you Manic Members out there. Â I may find myself on the road from time to time. Â I hope I can get to meet more of you in the real world…..huh?…whaddaya mean take the red or the blue pill?…Where did this guy come from?…and why did the same black cat just walk by the door?….uh oh…I’ll see you all later, my friends. Â Peace.
