I was never able to get into Clive Barker. I saw Nightbreed as a teenager and thought it was just okay, then tried to read Books of Blood when I was older, found the stories very disturbing, and never touched another of his works. Even though his writing isn’t to my tastes, I am glad that he was able to inspire you and so many others.
