Apologies for missing this one last week, I kinda sorta came down with a little Covid and unfortunately, it wasn’t nearly as mild as it’s been made out to be.
Fortunately, it was still a mild strain I caught and it was a mild case, I didn’t even lose my sense of taste… can’t take that away from a critic! Still, I did lose quite a few days to having to lay down and rest instead of… doing anything at all.
Nevertheless, I’m back, and I bring horror movie reviews! Though I don’t know if it’s the Covid throwing me off my game or what, but I was bothered as I was editing this review. I kept looking at scenes like “nah, I could have had a better joke there” and listening to my performance like “I know I was still feeling a bit blah, but my performance sounds more like my older videos before I was more confident in front of the camera….”
Hopefully by next week, all the kinks will have been worked out.
