Since Netflix hasn’t done many physical releases with some of their shows, I collected a few bootlegs myself recently (mostly the Netflix MCU shows and a few movies). Though I am glad that some home media companies like Criterion have been releasing some exclusives from Netflix, Amazon and Hulu in physical format.
I have the legit Criterion blu ray of the Irishman. With movies I love, I play the long game. You never know when one of these streaming services might go out of business, get hacked, or decide they don’t want to hold on to certain content anymore. I keep wanting to stop buying discs, but I’m a doomsday prepper when it comes to movies.
