TLOTA(Voiceover): Oh yeah Fan4Stic! A movie so horrendous in it execution that it surprised me that it lasted as long as it did in the theaters and it reminded me of one thing I never thought possible but for me is true!

I too thought the first Fantastic Four movie was okay, but I haven’t seen Rise of the Silver Surfer all the way through.
However, Fan4stic was just … an awful attempt at doing a ‘gritty, grounded’ take on something that doesn’t work if you try to make it ‘gritty’ and ‘grounded’. It’s as if Josh Trank came from some alternate universe where the Marvel Cinematic Universe never existed and therefore didn’t know it was okay to have fun with the superhero genre instead of going the Dark Knight or Zack Snyder approach.
