Merry Christmas and welcome to The Hitlist, where I look at the songs I love to hate. A few days ago, I explained why I thought “The Christmas Shoes” wasn’t the worst Christmas song ever. After listening to it again, though, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s still not the worst, but it’s not that great either. Most of its problems have to do with the lyrics, but I still believe that it was at least trying to be a decent song with a message about giving. That’s more than I can say about this lump of coal.
Lucas Cruikshank’s “Fred Figglehorn” character has a Christmas song. Just try to wrap your head around that. This clown:
released a Christmas song. A Christmas song complaining about how Frosty the Snowman, Santa, and Rudolph are creepy. He doesn’t explain why he thinks that way. He’s just doing it because it’s Fred.
