While the Prince of Persia isn’t massively known throughout the gaming industry it has seen it’s share of success. There have been two trilogies that were both successful for their time and the franchise had enough popularity to spawn a movie adaptation – Prince of Persia Sands of Time. However by the time the movie was released in the year 2010 the unnamed wall runner had already begun to fall from glory. Signs of this were apparent enough when the 2008 reboot of the series titled Prince of Persia, while received well by critics, did NOT receive the same positive response from fans of the series.
