In 1967 the era of the Original Six came to a close when the league doubled in size from six to twelve teams. This first expansion class would open the doors that have led to the 30-team NHL that we know today.
Today we are going to look at the shortest lived club of the Expansion Six; the Oakland Seals, aka the California Seals, aka the California Golden Seals, aka the Cleveland Barons.
