It’s been a while, hasn’t it? Dilligent readers may notice I haven’t published a film review since Muppets Most Wanted. I have seen a lot of movies in between then and now. Around the time I saw Captain America, I went through a bit of a rough patch, combined with me getting cold feet about having a negative opinion of that movie, I never wrote it. After not writing a review for that, I largely realized I didn’t miss writing film reviews as much as I thought so I went on a bit of a sabatical. I considered doing a comeback article on Jersey Boys because I had a lot to say about that. I got cold feet again because even though I really liked the movie, I was afraid my review would be too negative because of comparisons to the Broadway show. Maybe I will do that one later though. In the meantime, I had a lot to say about this film so I decided to pick myself up, dust myself on raise my pen again. I can’t guarantee I’ll crank reviews out on a regular basis. I’m rarely NOT busy anymore, but for now enjoy this review.
