HISTORY OF THE HAUNTED MANSION
Welcome Foolish Mortals! Normally this is the part where I would explain the history of the Mansion, but there is a very long and inclusive history and I was having trouble writing an abridged version by myself. Luckily I found an excellent two part special that does just that. Sit back and enjoy!
Now that the official history is taken care of I can tell you about my history with the Mansion. When I was about 3 or 4 I went on the Haunted Mansion. Apparently that day was “Scare the Living Crap out of Jack Day” because the ride broke down. I was in the attic and those pop up ghosts just kept going non stop and it was loud. I was TRAUMATIZED!!!!!!! I refused to go on that ride for 7 years. In 2002 in October The Haunted Mansion Holiday was up and running. That was the first time I had seen it and I love Nightmare Before Christmas so I mustered up the courage to ride it. I loved it! When I came back to the park in 2006 I rode the ORIGINAL Mansion for the first time in over a decade and I loved that as well. The Mansion is one of my favorite attractions.
COMING ATTRACTIONS
Haunted Mansion Month is going to contain a simple tribute to the classic attraction and a review of the Haunted Mansion Holiday and a review of the AWESOME Phantom Manor. Also I’m going to review that awful and despised Haunted Mansion movie (The Eddie Murphy one for those that have purged that terrible experience from their memories). I did not have the confidence to work on that on my own so I’m going to collaborate with the great Moviefan12 for this movie! We’re working on that right now and we’re pushing for a second week of October publication date. See you then! And HURRY BACK!!!
