Tokusatsu in Review: Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave

The marathon of the 2010 Dinosaur-themed Sentai and Ranger series ends with the 2017 Korean-funded sequel to the Original Kyoryuger…and a series that once again Shows that Toei REALLY should think about Firing Producer Shinichiro Shirakura.
And to think, we thought we escaped this guy for a year.

Tokusatsu in Review: Power Rangers Dino Charge Parts 5-9

Dino Charge enters it’s ‘super’ Sect, as the show actually gets stupid instead of possessing a bunch of badly executed Idea’s.
Maybe if they started hiring competent, experienced writers this would stop happening.

lastly, an update video on plans for 2018

Tokusatsu in Review: Power Rangers Dino Charge Parts 1-4

The long-awaited Review of Dino Charge kicks off with impossible spacerocks, awful composers, and the tale of magic gemstones millions of years in the making…in an era of the franchise where they can’t seem to do anything right.

Tokusatsu in Review: Toqger Vs Kyoryuger

The Kyoryuger-thon comes to it’s ultimate conclusions…with a character-assassinating crossover that shows just how bad Yasuko Kobayashi is at teamup movies.
it comes from her doing absolutely no research into the material she is writing about.
Considering her recent work, this isn’t that far from par for the course.

Tokusatsu in Review: Zyuden Sentai Kyouryuger part 6

Kyoruyuger concludes it’s main series with Many individual character arcs being concluded, a surprising plot twist, and Both sides reaching their respective win condition; making it a race for who’s melody can be unleashed first.

Tokusatsu in Review: KyouRyuger vs Gobusters

A Massive Teamup of an unprecedented (Outside of Gokaiger) number of Sentai Members!
It’s too bad they gave this to the guy who freely admits to sucking at managing larger casts.
Still better than ANYONE bar Naruhisa Arakawa would’ve done with this, but you can see the executive mandates as plain as day. And yet people still ask why it didn’t get adapted.

Tokusatsu in Review: Zyuden Sentai Kyouryuger part 5

Kyouryuger shines Silver, with the storyarc elevating a castmember into the final Teammate slot, amidst the awakening of the final Zyudenryu.

Kyouryuger’s half-hour cinema event brings us the showcasing of a trope started in Prior Dinosaur Sentai, and for the first time actually plays it straight!

Tokusatsu in Review: Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Part 3

Part three has Utchi properly join the samba, character exploratory episodes critics of this entry say don’t exist, and the 8th man to the band coming in to encourage the next stage of their growth.

Tokusatsu in Review: Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger part 2

Kyouryuger continues with the continued gathering of the Team, one of whom the cast has already met as an enemy!
…Come on, it’s a Dinosaur sentai, you think they weren’t going to pull this?

Tokusatsu in Review: Zyuden Sentai kyouryuger Intro/Part 1

Vamola! Des Shinta dives into the last widely popular and yet mixedly-received modern sentai series!
Maybe that mixed reception has to do with it being the third show based around Dinosaurs when there are other themes they’ve yet done.

Tokusatsu In review: Lupin the 3rd (2014)

Lupin returns to the show with the 2014 movie everybody hates despite its cast being awesome.

Shinta’s Take on Yugioh: Battle City Finals

Battle city ends with Torture, fire in the flames, a fated confrontation, and a redemption of a lost soul.
Only half of which you got context to in the dub!

Tokusatsu in Review: Garo Tougen no Fue

The Last of the Kouga-era Content (Beyond Rei’s Spinoffs) Closes with a Tale focused on the two Makai priests closest to him, alongside a pair of women attempting to revive a sealed evil.
Isn’t that always the way of this franchise?

Shinta’s Take on Yugioh: Virtual World Arc.

Everyone falls into the Depths of Link Vrain’s earliest Predecessor, in the anime-only filler arc exploring the kaiba Brothers’ backstory with their own villains to boot.
Too bad the chosen villains were a bit ridiculous and it was interrupting a more interesting Arc.
